Ash is thinking only of winning his third Orange Island Gym Badge. As the ferry approaches Trovita Island, Ash asks about the rock pillars that surround the island, and Tracey explains that they formed millions of years ago when the island rose up out of the ocean. Misty wonders what the Gym Leader will be like and Ash remarks that it doesn't matter because he is going to win. | |||
Just then, [[Ash's Pikachu|Pikachu]] hears something. The gang look to find a young girl and a {{p|Seel}} drowning in a whirlpool!
