Based on the release schedules of previous Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Packs, it is likely the Japanese S-P Promotional print would have been available alongside the dual {{TCG|Silver Lance}} and {{TCG|Jet-Black Spirit}} expansion on April 23, 2021. However, due to the release proximity of the previous Promo Card Pack, which was also delayed due to [[COVID-19 pandemic|COVID-19]] restrictions, and the state of emergency that was subsequently imposed in some Japanese prefectures from April 29, this print did not become available until July. This delay led to the first official release of this print appearing as a Chinese-language {{CTCG|S-P Promos|S-P Promotional card}} in May 2021.
