Ditto (Pokémon GO 53): Difference between revisions

This card was included in the {{TCG|Pokémon GO}} expansion with artwork by [[Misa Tsutsui]], first released in the Japanese subset of the same name. Ditto cards from Pokémon GO booster packs were always completely obscured with a sticker that resembled another card from the expansion (either Reverse Holo [[Spinarak (Pokémon GO 6)|Spinarak]], Reverse Holo [[Numel (Pokémon GO 13)|Numel]] or Reverse Holo [[Bidoof (Pokémon GO 59)|Bidoof]]). These stickers feature a Ditto image in place of a regulation mark, indicating they are not legal for use in official events. This feature is a reference to how Ditto can be encountered in the [[Pokémon GO]] game—it will disguise itself as one of several possible species and will revert to its true guise if successfully captured. It was reprinted with different artwork by [[KIYOTAKA OSHIYAMA]] in the Japanese {{TCG|VSTAR Universe}} subset. A {{TCG|Full Art card|Full Art}} {{TCG|Secret card}} with artwork by [[Miki Tanaka]] was also included in the VSTAR Universe subset.
