The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! Crown Zenith rarities

I believe the Rarities that were listed on the page before were pulled straight from the guide provided in the Elite Trainer Box. ^Maverick _Nate 20:15, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

Hi Maverick Nate! Thanks for your message on the Crown Zenith Galarian Gallary rarities. It is true that the Player’s Guides included in ETBs list the rarities of Galarian and Trainer Gallery cards differently (TGH/TGC/TGU/TGS; or GG for Crown Zenith). However, because there are no images for these rarities (yet), and because the previous four Sword & Shield sets use this style for their respective Trainer Galleries as well, I chose to use it for Crown Zenith as well. But if you think it’s better to use the “official” rarities (i.e. GGH/GGV/etc.), just let me know. Then I will change it right back, and adjust the sets with Trainer Galleries as well! Listing the correct rarities is still the better option, I think. It's more appropriate to show that we need to upload images instead of doing band-aid solution that's not quite 100% accurate. We can handle any similar rarities with image redirects, or by simply uploading the necessary images to fix the problem.

Otherwise, thank you for all the hard work you've been doing with Crown Zenith. There's still a lot to be done to be 100% for this coverage, but it's a complicated release so any contribution is very helpful! ^Maverick _Nate 13:42, 12 January 2023 (UTC)

SV Promos

Thanks for adding those in today! Something I wanted to mention though, is that when Japanese cards get their English release confirmed, it's better to move the Japanese page to the new english title, instead of redirecting the english title to the Japanese page. There are a few exceptions to this (mostly when a card is a reprint instead of a first print), but the majority of the time, this is the Best Practice. New releases

Hey there! I saw your talk message about being well-versed in current releases. I was wondering if you were willing to take a stab at updating this guy? I think the users who cover those pages normally are getting tied up in some other projects, and I'm trying to find an alternate solution to getting this page current again. Good job on the page! I'm sure it took a lot of effort, so thank you so much for getting it all posted. (I may go through with some tweaks later, but all in all good work.)

One quick, rather significant note. You are still able to link to the page using {{TCGMerch}} while having alternate names for products. You just have to utilize {{anchor}} beneath the section header on the merchandise page. (An appropriate example of how to do that can be found in the code of this section here: Sword & Shield Blisters or Noble Victories Blisters.) Some notes

Hey! I had a few notes I noticed on some recent edits

Despite what some sites like to claim, the official nomenclature for "Galaxy Holofoil" is Cosmos Holofoil
When ordering the categories, follow the order of the infobox. So Scarlet & Violet/Violet ex ===> SV Black Star Promos/SV-P Promotional cards (You put SV Black Star in between Scarlet & Violet and Violet ex). Maybe there's a better way that we should change to in the future, but for now, it's best to just continue what is being followed on other pages.

Shielbert and Sordward

I reverted your edits on Shielbert and Sordward. The prose In the TCG section is how characters pages are supposed to have their cards mentioned on pages. The list style is an outdated standard that we've been trying to get rid of. ^Maverick _Nate 13:27, 27 March 2023 (UTC)

OK! I was planning to add In the TCG information for Scarlet & Violet supporters as well, but I guess I shouldn't use this list style for that? And how would that work for characters that are featured on other cards (e.g. Arven on Mabosstiff)? Do you then use a table or do you just include it in the text (or don't include it at all)?
