This card was included as both a Regular card and a {{TCG|Secret card|Secret}} Rainbow Rare in the {{TCG|Vivid Voltage}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Amazing Volt Tackle}} expansion. Both prints feature artwork by [[aky CG Works]]. It was reprinted as one of the {{TCG|SWSH Black Star Promos}} with different artwork by [[PLANETA Mochizuki]] and was available in the {{TCGMerch|Sword & Shield|Series|Celebrations Premium Figure Collection—Pikachu VMAX}} from October 22, 2021. In Japan, this print was released as one of the {{TCG|S-P Promotional cards}} and was available as part of the ''PikaPika! Pikachu! Campaign'', which began on September 18, 2020. For every six Amazing Volt Tackle booster packs purchased in one transaction at participating stores, customers would receive a special pack containing one of five possible cards. For every Amazing Volt Tackle booster box purchased, customers would receive five special packs. The promotion ran for as long as stocks lasted. The Japanese version of this print has the campaign logo on the right edge of the artwork. In Japan, the Vivid Voltage Regular print was reprinted in the {{TCG|25th Anniversary Golden Box}}, which has a blue and gold "25th" graphic on the right edge of the artwork, and in the {{TCG|VMAX Climax}} subset. The VMAX Climax subset also included a Character Secret Rare print with artwork by [[Souichirou Gunjima]] and a gold Secret Full Art print with artwork by aky CG Works.
