Jirachi was also distributed through lotteries to 10,000 for the 18th World Hobby Fair on June 21 to June 22, 2003, 70,000 players for [https://web.archive.org/web/20030801074116/http://www.pokemon.co.jp/event/festa2003/get.html Pokémon Festa 2003] on July 19 to August 24, 2003, and 500 for the September 2003 issue of CoroCoro. The World Hobby Fair lottery deadline ended May 30, 2003 with winners announced on June 10, 2003. The Pokémon Festa lottery deadline ended June 27, 2003 with winners for the July venue announced on July 10, 2003, and winners for the August venue announced on July 18, 2003. The Pokémon was distributed by [[Distribution_devices#Pokémon Machine|Pokémon Distribution Machine]]. The original trainer gender and originating game for this Pokémon matched the recipient.
