:Because it looks just like any of the other wanderers in the game's data table; there is nothing different about it that couldn't be different about any other two wanderers. It's only differentiated elsewhere by the behavior it's apparently given. (It could be about as simple as: at the beginning of the day, all these flags are reset for whether a wanderer was defeated, but not Wailord (or most non-Wild Area/non-DLC wanderers).)
