The Best of Series 1 DVDs were distributed by {{wp|Siren Visual|Siren Entertainment}}. These are the only Pokémon DVDs to be released by Siren Entertainment. Only two were ever released, and only Series 1 ever received "Best of" DVDs. Also, despite the name, they were simply sequential releases of episodes. They were released in April 2002.

{{wp|Magna Pacific}} (now known as Beyond Home Entertainment) began releasing [[Super Wallet]]s to celebrate the {{pkmn|10th Anniversary}}. The Season 1 Super Wallet contains 12 discs with 48 episodes across them combined. The set is missing the episodes ''[[EP054|The Case of the K-9 Caper!]]'', ''[[EP055|Pokémon Paparazzi]]'', ''[[EP056|The Ultimate Test]]'', and ''[[EP057|The Breeding Center Secret]]'', but includes two bonus discs with six [[Pokémon Chronicles]] episodes across them. It was released on May 10, 2006 and its catalogue number is DSW12327. Its discs are designed to resemble a {{ball|Poké}}, except the bonus discs, which are designed to resemble a {{ball|Premier}}.

{{wp|Magna Pacific}} (now known as Beyond Home Entertainment) began releasing DigiPack disc sets of each season in 2010. The Season 1 DigiPack contains six discs with 52 episodes across them combined. It was released on March 10, 2010 and its catalogue number is DBX13215. Its discs are designed to resemble a {{ball|Poké}}.

Beyond Home Entertainment re-released this Digipack disc set with the same cover exclusive to JB Hi-Fi online in mid-July 2016 and in-stores mid-September 2016 to celebrate the {{pkmn|20th Anniversary}} of the franchise and its catalogue number is DBX13215. This set contains six discs with 52 episodes across them combined.

Beyond Home Entertainment re-released MetalPak limited editions of Seasons 1-5 in June 2013. In Australia, they were released on June 5, 2013 at {{wp|JB Hi-Fi}} and {{wp|Sanity (music store)|Sanity}} stores. In New Zealand, they were released on June 13, 2013 at JB Hi-Fi stores. The Season 1 MetalPak contains six discs with 52 episodes across them combined and its catalogue number is BHE4680.

Beyond Home Entertainment re-released this disc set again in a slimline case on April 2, 2014 with a different cover and the catalogue number BHE5385.

Beyond Home Entertainment re-released this disc set again in a Chamander T-shirt Pack exclusive to JB Hi-Fi with a different cover and the catalogue number BHE6282. It was released in Australia and New Zealand on November 18, 2015.

Beyond Home Entertainment re-released this disc set again in a Charizard T-shirt Pack exclusive to {{wp|Target}} with a different cover in 2015 or 2016.
