::::According to Showdown, this move has a [[critical hit]] ratio that is indeed one stage higher than for any other move with increased crit ratio (1/2 chance instead of 1/8). As for the wording, that would basically be like the difference between Swords Dance ("sharply increases" Atk) and Howl ("increases" Atk), except that there is no message; so I think it's adequate then.
