This card was included in the {{TCG|XY}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Yveltal Half Deck}}. An exclusive Cracked Ice Holofoil print of this card was included in the English {{TCG|Destruction Rush}} {{TCG|Theme Deck}}. It was reprinted as a Cosmos Holofoil {{TCG|XY Black Star Promos|XY Black Star Promo}} with new artwork by [[5ban Graphics]], included in the {{TCGMerch|XY|Series|Yveltal Figure Collection}} and the {{TCGMerch|XY|Series|Yveltal Jumbo Collection}}, both released on February 19, 2014. A {{TCG|Jumbo cards|Jumbo}} promotional reprint of this XY Promotional print was also included in the Yveltal Jumbo Collection. In Japan, the Yveltal Half Deck print was reprinted in the {{TCG|M Master Deck Build Box Speed Style}}, released on August 7, 2015. It was reprinted in the English {{TCG|Generations}} expansion, originating from the Japanese {{TCG|PokéKyun Collection}}, featuring artwork by [[Saya Tsuruta]], and again in the {{TCG|Cruel Traitor}} expansion, featuring artwork by [[Hajime Kusajima]].
