::::::By the end of your comment, I see that you're okay with not actually ''putting'' assumptions in the article. That's great, then! We're all in agreement. ^_^ [[User:Tiddlywinks|Tiddlywinks]] ([[User talk:Tiddlywinks|talk]]) 19:44, 9 April 2016 (UTC)

:::::::I never said anything about agreeing with anyone about anything. All I said was that when a Pokémon's gender is implied it could be acknowledged in the same way it was with Ash's Greninja. And let's face it, the situation there isn't much different.

::::::::I don't know what you're talking about with Ash's Greninja, but we will not even state in an article that a Pokemon's gender was "implied" to be such-and-such. The only thing that might be acceptable would be to state ''plain facts'' (like one Pokemon fell in love with another), and readers would be free to draw their own conclusions from that if they want. But we will not '''''assume''''' that one Pokemon's feelings for another are heterosexual. We don't need to make that assumption, and it's not warranted either.
