The Hoenn Pokédex listing for {{pkmn|Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire}} mainly follows the concept of [[List of Pokémon by Hoenn Pokédex number (Generation III)|the original Hoenn Pokédex]] from Generation III. However, aside from the addition of the {{type|Fairy}}, the only major difference from the original Hoenn Pokédex is that 9 new Pokémon, which were originally found in the [[Sinnoh]] region as a pre-evolution, evolution, or branched-evolution of certain Pokémon found in the Hoenn region, are now added to the new Hoenn listing as well.
