Black (Adventures): Difference between revisions

On {{rt|1|Unova}}, Black meets {{tc|Hiker}} Andy and defeats him in his first Battle. Black finds out that Andy used to have the same dreams as he does, to beat the Pokémon League, but because of his weakness to heat, he had to give up. After putting out a fire, Black manages to convince the Hiker to restart his journey, even letting him join in his morning routine.

Later, when doing his normal routine, Black inadvertently interrupts an [[Xtransceiver]] commercial shooting. He meets {{adv|White}}, the representative of the [[BW Agency]] and she tries to convince him to help her by letting his male Tepig, Tep, be partnered with her female Tepig, Gigi, in a movie shooting. Suddenly, five crew members are knocked unconscious and Black is suspected of being the attacker. Black proves his innocence by finding the real culprit, a {{p|Galvantula}}, and defeating it. Black is then pointed out that he, in the process of defeating the Galvantula, destroyed all the camera equipment. He is prevented from getting in trouble for this by White who claims they just hired him and puts the cost for all the damages on the BW Agency. Black is forced to help White till he pays off his debt, fifty paychecks worth of commercials. He now refers to her as "Boss".

Black's travels takes him to the [[Mistralton Cave]], where he decides to catch one of the legendary Pokémon he heard about from Iris so that he could hopefully convince Drayden to allow him into the League. There, he meets {{adv|Shōko}} of the {{p|Patrat}} show whose friend, Trish of {{tc|The Riches|the Riches}}, was captured by Virizion, {{p|Terrakion}}, and {{p|Cobalion}} after she tried to capture them herself. Black manages to free Trish, but Shōko and Trish's Pokémon are captured and taken away to be freed from their Trainers. Black tracks Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion down and barely manages to convince them to release their captives.

Black's travels take him to {{rt|6|Unova}}, where he reunites with White. They spot Marshal refereeing a battle between Alder and N, which ends with N as the winner. When Black sees that N has successfully awakened and controlled Zekrom, the Light Stone reacts and briefly transforms into Reshiram before reverting to its previous state. As N prepares to leave, he is attacked by Cedric Juniper. Cedric tells Black and White to help him get information from N about the whereabouts of the kidnapped Gym Leaders. With the power of the three Unova starter Pokémon, N is defeated, but he revives his other Pokémon and prevents Black from getting any info. Confused, Black resorts to Musha again, but the Munna only recoils in fear and ignores his orders. N reveals that Musha no longer considers Black's dreams tasty, and thus no longer has a reason to stay with his Trainer. As Musha floats away, Black faints from the shock that the bond between him and his longtime friend was all a lie.

During his battle with Cheren, White found out that Gray was actually Zinzolin and attempted to reveal this to Black before Hood Man had her taken away with {{m|Teleport}}. He attacks the bound Zinzolin and demands to know where White was taken to. Zinzolin instead pulls out a remote control and activates it, summoning Team Plasma's castle from the depths of the earth. The castle surrounds the League, and several Team Plasma Grunts come out and corner everyone. Black is approached by Ghetsis, the Seven Sages, and N. Seeing Zekrom agitates Reshiram, so it immediately flies off to battle with its counterpart, leaving Black alone. Ghetsis mocks Black as being completely unable to stop Team Plasma as his allies are too busy with other problems to lend their assistance. A voice denies this claim and reveals itself to belong to Hiker Andy. Andy, along with Chris, Geoffrey, Jeremy, Trish, Shōko, and Logan, decide to assist Black by him letting go on ahead while they battle the sages and rescue the kidnapped Gym Leaders.  

Black complies and gets on Reshiram's back while letting the rest of his team go to help with the chaos down below. On the top of N's Castle, Black and N have their final battle. Due to a lack of understanding of Reshiram's power, Black struggles against N. With Cedric Juniper's help, Black figures out how to utilize Reshiram's strength. By exploiting the power of {{m|Fusion Flare}}, Black deals heavy damage to Zekrom, but it and N escape to inside the castle with Black and Reshiram following after. Once inside, the two continue their battle, but a second Zekrom appears to assist the first. Black sees through the ruse and attacks the real Zekrom, defeating it. The second Zekrom reveals itself to be Zorua, who had remained to help N despite him releasing all of his friends prior to the attack on the League.
