:Why yes, things have changed a few times in the middle of going through every card ever. What we do nowadays is that we only mention in the origin section things with the exact name as something in the games (or a very obvious variation of it, like Triple Peck, Double Tackle, Super Confusion, etc). Everything that says something like "based on", "is similar to", etc has been deemed speculation and is removed whenever noticed. Additional, everything should be listed in the order it appears on the card. If anything else comes up that isn't detailed above, feel free to ask me again. I'm having a hard time coming up with any exception to the rules that may exist.
