Lots of people say "RNG is cheating" only because "bulbapedia says so!!"; similar to how we had to prove Serebii's 'confirmed' Shiny Zekrom/Reshiram false, having unsubstantiated text isn't the way to go. Do a Google search to see the various arguments around the net... the consensus is pretty clear. Uninformed plebs say RNG is cheating; those who actually know what RNG abuse is and how it works say it isn't. It's just manipulation. :"The primary complaint against cheating methods is that it takes no particular ability to exploit a glitch or enter a cheat code, and thus detracts from the point and spirit of the game, making it less enjoyable". Taken from the Criticism section of the article itself. While some may argue that RNG abuse isn't within the spirit of the game it, if anything, takes MORE skill and ability than standard play, and certainly more than using cheating devices such as Action Replays and Gamesharks. I decided to alter the description of RNG abuse in the main article as a result. I've not removed it completely, as people may still view it as cheating, but I tried my best to make it clear that views are mixed and that they should make their own opinion about it.
