Techno Blast (move): Difference between revisions

* Ironically, Techno Blast is inferior to Genesect's other moves; as {{m|Flamethrower}}, {{m|Ice Beam}}, and {{m|Thunderbolt}} are superior in power, have more {{PP}}, and sport additional effects. The exception is when Genesect is holding the {{DL|Drive|Douse Drive}} or when holding no [[drive]]. Genesect does not have access to any {{type2|Water}} moves other than Techno Blast (holding a Douse Drive) and potentially {{m|Hidden Power}}, which is limited to a power of 30-70. Meanwhile, while Genesect can learn many {{type2|Normal}} moves, Techno Blast (holding no drive) is its strongest {{type2|Normal}} [[special move]] with 100% {{stat|accuracy}}; however, it is able to learn {{m|Tri-Attack}} at level 44, which has 5 less power, 5 more PP, and a 20% chance of [[paralysis|an]] [[freeze|additional]] [[burn|effect]].
