 After Kodai was driven away, the injuries Zoroark sustained took their toll, and she collapses, no longer having the strength to do nothing else. Zoroark uses her Illusion ability on Kodai one last time, who was seeking shelter at the World Cup Stadium, knocking him out, and she closes her eyes with a satisfied smile. Zorua cries out for its mother and attempts to wake her, but with no success, and everyone fears the worst. After Celebi regained its strength with the use of the real ripple of time, Celebi uses the energy field in order to revive Zoroark. Zoroark opens her eyes, and she and Zorua embrace, finally being reunited.
-Alongside the main protagonists, Zoroark then corners Kodai, who ends up defeated and arrested. Zorua and Zoroark were then boarded on a ship heading back to Unova with {{mo|Kurt}} and [[Rioka]]. Before they departed, Zoroark took on the form of Pikachu and she returned to her original form when Zorua had taken on the form of Ash. In the credits, Zoroark and Zorua were last seen nuzzling each other affectionately when the ship approaches a mist-covered island, presumbaly their homeland.
