Pokémon × Van Gogh was a collaboration between Pokémon and the Van Gogh Museum to celebrate the latter's 50th anniversary. The collaboration consisted of an exhibit at the museum and a merchandise line.

Museum exhibit

From September 28, 2023 to January 7, 2024, the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Netherlands featured an exhibit featuring Pokémon artwork that was inspired by Vincent van Gogh's works. Six pieces were produced:

Museum visitors could complete an activity dubbed a "Pokémon Adventure" to learn about the works that inspired the collaboration. Filling out a leaflet rewarded visitors with the TCG promo card Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat. A How to Draw Pikachu video played on the museum's first floor. The museum's website also hosted educational slideshows for schools to teach students about the impression Japanese art had on van Gogh.

Merchandise

Museum shop

The Van Gogh Museum's shop sold several items featuring the Pokémon art, including postcards, t-shirts, magnets, and coloring books.

Pokémon Center

The online Pokémon Center for the US, Canada, and the UK released the Pokémon × Van Gogh Museum Collection. It featured the art pieces on card sleeves, deck boxes, playmats, tote bags, jigsaw puzzles, posters, and mugs. The Pikachu and Eevee pieces also had figures made of them. A copy of the Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat promo was included in orders of any of these items.
