• All of the Pokémon on the front cover have been owned by Ash, except for Togepi (who was owned by Misty) and Sentret, despite Gligar not being owned by him until Riding the Winds of Change!.
• Delia Ketchum, Nurse Joy, Officer Jenny, and Gary Oak are the only main characters who do not sing on this album. However, Delia, Joy, and Jenny are all mentioned in at least one song, while Gary is not mentioned at all.
