This card was included as both a Regular card and an illustration rare in the Obsidian Flames expansion, first released in the Japanese Ruler of the Black Flame expansion. The Regular print features artwork by KYUPIYAMA, while the illustration rare print features artwork by Miki Tanaka. A Cosmos Holofoil variant of the Obsidian Flames Regular print was made available in the Tyranitar ex Premium Collection, which began to appear in stores around mid-November 2024.
