Fire Guard (Japanese: ほのおガード Flame Guard) is a skill in Pokémon Masters EX. It reduces the damage taken from Fire-type moves.

Effect

Fire Guard reduces the damage taken from Fire-type moves, including Buddy moves, by 30%. It does not reduce damage from sync moves or Max Moves.

All Pokémon that can access the Fire Guard skill without the use of Lucky Cookies can have either the Thick Fat or Flash Fire Ability in the core series games. Both these Abilities either reduce the damage from or provide immunity to Fire-type moves.
