This card was originally released as part of the {{TCG|Dark Explorers}} expansion, the {{TCG|Dark Rush}} expansion in Japan. It was reprinted as one of the {{TCG|BW-P Promotional cards}} with new artwork given to those who purchased a booster box of {{TCG|Dark Rush}}. This print was released as the {{TCG|Prerelease cards|Prerelease promo}} for the English {{TCG|Dark Explorers}} expansion. For the first time since prerelease promos were introduced, this release was one of the {{TCG|BW Black Star Promos}}, instead of a card actually in the set.
