Even if he is Dr. Fuji it doesn't mean his hometown is Cinnabar Island anyway. Dr. Fuji is highly likely to be Mr. Fuji with a different title because the player recognizes the name and there is no other mention of Fuji. Dr. Fuji is a game character technically, but he has a single mention in a minor piece of text, and is unlikely to be an individual character anyway (they would not make two characters with the same name in the same game in that way unless they were the same or related). My point was that the anime Dr. Fuji is not a game character. And you're still using speculation as the ground for what should be in the articles. Speculations '''are ''not''''' facts. An encyclopedic wiki should use facts ''and'' reliable sources as long as it's possible. Yes, it is something that it is not officially clear and we have to present possible facts but that's precisely the point of claiming that it's Dr. Fuji over Mr. Fuji. We know the former to be a researcher, a scientist, who is obviously more likely to be related with the scientific discovery of Mew and its cloning that resulted in Mewtwo. {{tt|All we know about Mr. Fuji is that he is not native to Lavender Town and that he takes care of orphaned Pokémon.|I'm talking about his life and his activities; the fact Team Rocket kidnapped him is irrelevant to this discussion}}. So Dr. Fuji, regardless of having a prominent presence or not, is the most appropriate choice.
