The names on Pokémon Adventures, although directly translated by Japanese company (The Pokémon Company), there are flawed from volume to volume and often have to fix those flaws in newer reprints. But there have been conflicts between Japanese and Vietnamese sides since translators from Japan couldn't understand Vietnamese culture as well as Vietnamese ones, and the names are directly translated by Japanese ones, so the Vietnamese have to alter or adjust (or even request changes) the translations.
