For Google+ channels, it should be <code>youtube.com/channel/<channellink></code>, and for older accounts (with actual names in the URLs) it should be <code>youtube.com/user/<username></code>. Currently, it's using <code>youtube.com/<username></code>, which usually works for older accounts (not sure if it fails for some of them though), but does not work for Google+ channels. :::::Well, you could just add "channel/" yourself but, since you mentioned this, then don't forget that there is a third channel ID URL type, <code>youtube.com/c/<anything></code>. The best solution is to drop the pointless names from the template altogether since they try to solve a problem that doesn't exist. "YouTubeVid" just needs to be fixed and EmbedVideo doesn't have to be replaced with the YouTube widget.
