Welcome to Bulbapedia, Ckoerner!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Professor Burnet

As a newbie to Bulbapedia, I shall explain this. Bulbapedia requires reliable sources. Looking at credits isn't seen as reliable. Voice actor or director is proof.--BigDocFan (talk) 18:29, 12 November 2018 (UTC)

User:BigDocFan, thanks for the hand. Could you point me to community policy when it comes to credits and reliable sources? In the context of this discussion what would suffice? I don’t see any references for other claims (voice acting or otherwise) witching articles here. So I’m rather confused on what would qualify. If it helps, you (or anyone else) can verify my claim by watching the show and viewing the credits. Ckoerner (talk) 19:45, 12 November 2018 (UTC)

Good question, I'm not entirely sure where we find the policy. I'm sure another member can point you in the right direction--BigDocFan (talk) 19:58, 12 November 2018 (UTC)
Thanks User:BigDocFan. I might suggest next time to have the policy in hand before claiming someone has run afoul of it. At this point I’ve been accused of breaking a rule (which I don’t want to do!) but no clear rule seems to exist (I looked as well). I’ll let this go and spend my time elsewhere. I have little interest or energy for wikilawyering. :) I appreciate you reaching out to me. Ckoerner (talk) 20:07, 12 November 2018 (UTC)
