| | The dark lord trombonator (trom) is a former Editor-in-Chief of Bulbanews (2011–12) and former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Bulbapedia (2010–2012). Since leaving Bulbagarden he found fame as a television presenter and author, although he currently works for the New Zealand government. Quite seriously, many of the skills he uses in his daily life came from the nearly four years he spent as a regular contributor to this website. To anyone looking to follow in his footsteps, he strongly advises against this and suggests they consider a more relaxing and less time-consuming hobby, such as breeding giant pandas, proving the Riemann hypothesis, or working for the New Zealand government. |

| I've been using wikis since before they were cool: way back in 2005. That was about the same time Bulbapedia got started, but I was over on {{wp|Main Page|that other wiki}} then. I was a regular editor there for about three years or so. It was at that point, 2008, that I stumbled upon this wiki, got brainwashed, and got promoted to {{bp|administrator}} a few months later.
