About me
Why hello there. My name, as the title of this page suggests, is Takharii (たかはりい Takaharii). Well, it's actually not real name. I made that up. Anyway, I'm a girl, I live in Australia and I have been here on Bulbapedia since July 29, 2009. I'm one of the more active users, editing little bits here and there, prowling the RC, and often making new templates, or updating old ones, in my very own sandox. I'm also a good friend to everyone (even you), and I'm happy to help out the new users if they have trouble with anything.
Now, onto the good stuff...
History with Pokémon
Well. I got my first Pokémon game, Diamond Version, in late April 2009, after playing around on my brother's Pearl Version. I became hooked almost instantly. My starter Pokémon was Piplup, until I restarted the game in September (long story, but I had traded that Piplup (well, Empoleon) and my Dialga to my brother's game before restarting, so I got them back). In my new file, I started with Turtwig.
I was out of it for a little while, being new to the franchise. I mean, I got Diamond after the release of Platinum, costing me Darkrai and Shaymin. Never mind. I was, however, up-to-date by the release of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, and I bought SoulSilver only three days after its Australian release, and I started with Chikorita. I got Ranger: Shadows of Almia not long after that. Thanks to one of my friend's friends, I managed to get Ruby, starting with Mudkipz and FireRed, starting with Squirtle.
For Christmas in 2010, I got Ranger: Guardian Signs, and, much like my other games, finished it in about within a week. I'm now eagerly awaiting the English release of Pokémon Black and White.
Along with the games, I also watch the anime, starting with season 10. I'm a PearlShipper, however, I'm not botherd by Ikari or Cavalier, and I think HeatTag is a laugh. Just so you know, I hold a strong grudge against PenguinShipping and MorpheusShipping. Oh, and Misty and Tracy were made for each other ♥.
Enough of my shipping rants. One interesting fact, though, is that despite not overly likeing Template:Type2s, (hence not picking them as my starters), my favourite Pokémon is Flareon.
