He has also won the [[Orange League]] and [[Battle Frontier (Generation III)|Kanto's Battle Frontier]]. Currently he's traveling through [[Unova]] with [[#Lila|Lila]].<br>Maxy is specialized in capturing Pokémon with "rare [[move]]s", meaning moves that the Pokémon cannot usually learn or moves that notably differ from the Pokémon's [[elemental type|type]]. For example, his {{p|Magmar}} knows {{m|Psychic}} and {{m|ThunderPunch}}, his {{p|Hitmonlee}} knows {{m|Blaze Kick}}, his {{p|Rhydon}} knows {{m|Surf}} and {{m|Whirlpool}} and his {{p|Ninetales}} knows {{m|Hypnosis}} and {{m|Confuse Ray}}. This interest of his begun as he found out that his [[starter Pokémon]] {{p|Wartortle}} had learned {{m|Confusion}}.

Alex challenged Maxy to a {{pkmn|battle}}, but lost after a dramatic clash of both Trainer's {{p|Tyranitar}}. After this, they promised each other to battle again at [[Hoenn League]].<br>Alex and Maxy faced each other again at Ever Grande Conference, and finally Alex lost. After the third loss, Alex swore to defeat him after he would have competed in the Sinnoh League. During the Lily of the Valley Conference, Alex found out about the Pokémon's identity, and in a battle following the tournament, defeated it. They have also battled twice in Unova, and Alex has won both of the battles.<br>Lucas is a member of "Dark Lightning" organization. Even though there's not much know about the organization, Lucas is known to have a notably high position in it.

Always when a member of "Dark Lightning" gets a promotion for enough high position, Ener gives this member a strong Pokémon to use.<br>Even though Ener's past is mostly unknown, he refers his secret plan to be "getting back his legendary army", mentioning that he once controlled several [[legendary Pokémon]], but, for unknown reason, lost control of them, causing them to escape.<br>Ener has some yet unknown plans for Unova's legendary Pokémon {{p|Zekrom}}, and he intends to use his ex-servant Alex in order to fulfill his plan of grabbing the legandary {{t|Dragon}} Pokémon.

After fulfilling his goal, he started to travel through [[Kanto]] and challenge the eight [[Gym]] Leaders. After this he competed in the [[Indigo Plateau Conference]] and was ranked to Top 4. After the conference, he heard about Unova and decided to head there in order to catch all of the region's starter Pokémon. On the way, he also decided to enter the Unova League.<br>Fred is a very powerful Trainer, as he has been able to capture and tame the [[legendary beasts]]. He caught them to "thank" them for saving his grandfathers from dangers, saying that now it was his turn to protect them. However, he soon realized that he couldn't keep them in his team without attracting too much attention, and gave them away.

She also competed in the [[Silver Conference]], where she was ranked as the second best. She's currently travelling through [[Unova]] along with Maxy. She usually moves around by {{m|fly}}ing on the back of her Charizard "Charles".
