The Ultra Rangers are a group of minor characters who during a flashback in SM100. They were residents of an alternate world that had undergone an unspecified cataclysmic event.

When Ash and Pikachu found themselves transported to their alternative world, they encountered Dia who informed them that the world came under attack by a Guzzlord and the Ultra Rangers had attempted to defeat Guzzlord with their Pokémon, only to lose.
