Shouldn't this template use Suicune's Crystal sprite instead of G/S? hfc2X 00:32, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

Despite what the previous post says, I think the sprite should be changed since Suicune's crest is purple in Gold and Silver before being fixed to blue in Crystal. Perhaps upload a separate static version of File:Spr 2c 245.png? Rjd1922 (talk) 23:03, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
Suicune's Crystal Sprite for Template: User Crystal
Since Template: User Gold has Ho-Oh's Gold sprite and Template: User Silver has Lugia's Silver sprite, then shouldn't Template: User Crystal have Suicune's Crystal sprite instead of its Gold sprite? The Crystal sprite may be animated, but so are the Diamond and Pearl sprites for Dialga and Palkia, the Platinum sprite for Giratina, and the HeartGold and SoulSilver sprites for Ho-Oh and Lugia for the User Diamond, User Pearl, User Platinum, User HeartGold, and User SoulSilver Templates. It was previously mentioned on this talk page that using the Crystal sprite for Template: User Crystal would be too distracting for the sprite is animated instead of static. If that was the case, then shouldn't the Templates for the Gen IV games be static as well? Here's how Template: User Crystal would look like with Suicune's Crystal sprite.

The sprite appears to fit the Template and it plays without an issue. Also, on the page for Suicune's Crystal sprite, there is the following notification: Note: Due to technical limitations, thumbnails of this file will not be animated. This message is also present in the sprite pages for Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Ho-Oh, and Lugia that I've previously mentioned, and they are all playing just fine in their respective Templates. I recommend that someone who is able to edit this Template update it so to have Suicune's Crystal sprite instead of its Gold sprite. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 03:04, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
