Meeting Date on Transfer

How is a pokemon's Meeting Date determined when transferred from a gen 3 game to a gen 4 game? Crows (talk) 04:58, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

The date the transfer occurred is used as their met date. Similarly, their met level is the level they were when they were transferred. In HGSS, that's displayed as "Arrived at Lv. #." on the summary screen. (The met location is whichever region they were transferred from—Hoenn for 'mons transferred from RSE and Kanto for 'mons transferred from FRLG.) Storm Aurora (talk) 16:19, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

Specifically the date the DS console clock is set to, (which can be set by the user to any date they want, between Jan 1 2000 and Dec 31 2099, if I remember correctly), so the "met date" doesn't have to match the actual current date. Atrius97 (talk) 20:36, 19 April 2024 (UTC)
