Height comparisons

Alright, crazy idea here... would it be possible to somehow add height comparisons akin to the ones in the games to the wiki? I ask because many people don't understand the way height applies to snake- or fish-like Pokémon: It represents the length, rather than having Arbok the same height as Groudon in a hypothetical lineup. I have a vague idea, but I don't know which images would work best—pretty much all images of snake Pokémon, the ones which cause the most confusion, have them coiled up, and thus practically unmeasurable. Here's what I'm thinking:

This is with 100 pixels reflecting 1 meter of height. Bulbasaur is used for comparison seeing as it's the wiki's mascot. Obviously it would need to be refined, and I'm not sure where or how it should be implemented, but it seems like a good idea. --AndyPKMN 22:51, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Glitch Pokémon

Maybe we should add Glitch Pokémon at least somehow in this list. Or is there another article with the height/weight comparisons of Glitch Pokémon? GHOST will get you...Shadow Kyurem 12:06, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

We will not list glitch Pokémon with regular Pokémon on a page like this. I guess glitch Pokémon could have their own List of glitch Pokémon by height. --SnorlaxMonster 12:16, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

Mega Charizard and Blastoise

Their statistics are not listed, but other Megas like Sableye which share the height are listed.Trainer Yusuf (talk) 23:10, 8 July 2016 (UTC)

What happened was that Mega Sableye was added by a regular user last year. However, a separate user had already noted that Mega Absol and Ampharos both were the same height when updating the article in 2013 and excluded them at that time. Thus, it seems that Mega Sableye should be removed as it was intended for these cases to be excluded. While this would be the end of this, apparently the opinion of what to do in these cases changed by mid-2014 based on some edits on List of Pokémon by weight which added those Mega Evolutions that had the same weight as their non-Mega state. To conclude, I will be adding those cases to this article in the near future for the purpose of consistency. --Super goku (talk) 04:17, 9 July 2016 (UTC)

Height for Quadrupeds

Are quadrupedal Pokemon measured head to floor (when standing), or head to rear? Glaceon, for instance, is listed as being 2'7", but if that were head to floor, it'd be really, really big, much bigger than it looks when next to human characters. Dachimotsu (talk) 17:17, 6 July 2018 (UTC)

  • It isn't really known since it varies between Pokemon, so I can't say for sure. Also, Glaceon being 2'7" isn't too farfetched for being head to floor, since the games and anime are rather inconsistent when it comes to human perspective. Ice Cream 18:33, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
