::::@[[User:Kumori Satosuke|Satosuke]] I would presume the weather trio are just incredibly influential on nature. Arceus is the only Pokemon anywhere near a god. Dialga and Palkia are only considered so because of the spacetime control. I think Giratina has something to do with antimatter so it and the Distortion World are just a balance to the regular matter universe. {{unsigned|494alex}}

Hey, we all know anime pages refer to Pokémon that appear in a Pokémon movie. Since movie 9 is the only time it appeared, I suggest an anime page should be made about it. I know it only appeared around the end of movie 9 and didn't have much to do in the movie, but how about we do make the anime page? Oh, and not to annoy people, I won't make unless and until we decide to make it.--[[User:Dragonbeastx|<font color="blue">DRAGON</font>]][[User talk:Dragonbeastx|<font color="yellow">BEAST</font>]][[User:Dragonbeastx/The Aura Spot|<font color="red">X</font>]] 05:58, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

You're right... I was thinking of comparing the way it appeared to Regigigas in movie 11... even though I haven't seen that movie, it seems that [[Regigigas (anime)|its anime page]] says that it had a bigger appearance, huh? I guess an anime page shouldn't be made, then.--[[User:Dragonbeastx|<font color="blue">DRAGON</font>]][[User talk:Dragonbeastx|<font color="yellow">BEAST</font>]][[User:Dragonbeastx/The Aura Spot|<font color="red">X</font>]] 05:58, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
==Trivia Section==
You see where it says in Rayquaza Kyogre and Groudon's Trivia section that they are the only version mascot legendaries without signature moves, shouldn't it also be said that this is probably because they have signature ABILITIES instead? I mean I don't any other Pokémon with Drizzle, Drought or Air Lock (thouh the Psyduck family have Cloud Nine, which does the same thing as Ray's ability). All other version mascot legendaries have Pressure, except Giratina Origin Forme which has Levitate. {{unsigned|494alex}}

== Trivia Error ==
Did/Does Suicune have a signature move? According to the trivia, all legendary mascots have had one except for this generation's. The Groudon page also has a similar error. [[User:Poisson14|Poisson14]] 02:15, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
:No, Suicune doesn't have a [[signature move]], (although it is associated with {{m|Aurora Beam}}) the article already says this-"Kyogre, along with Groudon, '''Suicune''' and Rayquaza, are the only legendary Pokémon who are the version mascot of a main game, but lack a signature move." --[[User:Beligaronia|Beligaronia]] ([[User talk:Beligaronia|talk]]) 02:44, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

== Origin ==
I noticed similarities between Kyogre and the First Nations mythological Kumugwe.
Kumugwe is the Kwakwaka'wakw god of the sea. One of his most important totem animals is the Orca and masks of him are depicted as blue with red trim and white bits with fish eyes and gills.

)
Is this worth noting at all or am I just crazy?
[[User:GLBX|GLBX]] 05:24, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
A lot of Pokemon seem to be based on mythological figures/animals, there was a faq on Gamefaqs for some of the older games detailing each Pokemon's origin themes.[[User:Tesseract|Tesseract]] 09:28, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
== Inspiration ==
The article states that Kyogre's design draws inspiration from whales, namely the Orca. But to me, it looks like it also has some similarities to [http://ichef.bbci.co.uk/food/ic/food_16x9_608/foods/m/monkfish_16x9.jpg Monkfish], namely the body shape and it's mouth. == Image Distorting Page ==
On my browser it appears that Kyogre's art is too wide and is stretching the page out to the right, taking the various stat boxes out of the right margins of the template. [[User:Drake Clawfang|Drake Clawfang]] ([[User talk:Drake Clawfang|talk]]) 16:15, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

== Can someone describe their forms first? ==
Though we are all foggy on the details of Groudon's and Kyogre's Primal forms, could someone start off by describing the forms in detail in the Biology section of both articles? [[User:The Seeker|The Seeker]] ([[User talk:The Seeker|talk]]) 20:05, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
:This really isn't that good, but it's a start for someone to make better! "When in it's Primal forme, Kyogre more than doubles in size, and becomes darker blue in color. It's red stripes are now light blue with seven extra stripes on its body; one that begins with a pattern similar to the one on each fin starting from its face leading to its tail, with two further stripes leading from the large spots above its eyes into the central stripe three quarters of the way down its body. The central stripe The trailing parts have the final four new stripes, trailing through the middle of each trailing part." --<b>[[User:S2daam|<span style="color:#F85888">--s</span><span style="color:#F8D030">a</span><span style="color:#6890F0">m</span><span style="color:#98D8D8">m :D</span>]]</b> 20:49, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

Under [[Kyogre (Pokémon)#Trophy Information]], would someone like to change <code><nowiki>[[OHKO|faint instantly]]</nowiki></code> to <code><nowiki>[[one-hit knockout move|faint instantly]]</nowiki></code>? ("Information" probably also shouldn't be capitalized...) Thanks. [[User:Tiddlywinks|Tiddlywinks]] ([[User talk:Tiddlywinks|talk]]) 16:53, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
Primal Kyogre's Ability does not translate to "Rain" of Beginnings, it translates to Sea of Beginnings. Could someone fix it? [[User:Tiddlywinks|Tiddlywinks]] ([[User talk:Tiddlywinks|talk]]) 14:51, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
If someone could add the Smash 3DS trophy description, which is:
:''This Water-type Pokémon roughly resembles an orca whale, though its large fins also look a bit like hands. Be wary of its Hydro Pump attack, which is capable of sending you flying off the stage. Even worse, it will chase after you, making it harder to recover from the attack.'' <small>[[User:Glik|glik]]</small>[[User talk:Glik|glak]] 23:35, 14 October 2014 (UTC)

Ummmmmm can someone add "Primal Kyogre is the Heaviest Water-Type Pokemon"? I know this is now the heaviest Water-Type pokemon. It used to be Wailord. --[[User:HoennLove200|HoennLove200]] ([[User talk:HoennLove200|talk]]) 02:06, 9 December 2014 (UTC)

== Type Effectiveness ==
Primal Kyogre is not immune to Fire-type attacks. But these wikipedia editors denied this because of Primal Kyogre's ability. You guys are wrong. {{unsigned|Arceus88}}
:You are correct.  However, Primal Kyogre has the abilty {{a|Primordial Sea}}, which DOES grant immunity.  The only way that Primordial Sea would NOT be able to be in effect is if a slower Primal Groudon or Mega Rayquaza was on the field and activated an ability AFTER Kyogre, which would render Primordial Sea ineffective and out of play and thus make Primal Kyogre attackable with Fire-type attacks once again.  That is the ONLY way.  [[User:CycloneGU|CycloneGU]] ([[User talk:CycloneGU|talk]]) 03:49, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
