Hm... Is this necessary? Personally, I think it should.

Humans are a big part of the Pokémon world. More characters are humans than any other species. Humans have a huge effect on the ecosystem of the Pokémon world. TorchicBlaziken (talkedits) 19:36, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

Lol. Because it's simply idiotic. What about copyvio'ing the Wikipedia article about Homo Sapiens? --Maxim 19:45, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
Hasn't a page like this been made and deleted before? CuboneKing 20:39, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
Other NIWA wikis have articles on humans, and in Pokémon, humans are much more important than in the other ones. So why not? At the very least we could make an article detailing the relationship between humans and Pokémon. (and redirect this) Besides, we have a page on Canon, which doesn't really matter much, either. TorchicBlaziken (talkedits) 22:01, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
Nope, this is stupid. Delete.--Pokélova! 07:48, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
But before we delete, please explain just why it's stupid and unneeded, when the relationship between humans and Pokémon remains undocumented on this wiki? And, we also have Shipping:ContestCatShipping, which I can plainly see is even stupider. (the only reason why they are paired together is because they both have cats and they were rivals. That's it.) And plus, I searched it on the internet, and besides the page for it, I only got 6 original results. TorchicBlaziken (talkedits) 13:22, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
Not just rivals, since-childhood-rivals. But that's not the point. I believe the relationship between humans and Pokémon has been documented enough, through pages such as Pokémon (species), Trainer, Breeder, etc.--Pokélova! 13:47, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
Come on, man. You're the only one who thinks that this page is needed. You're simply defending your own article. It's really pathetic... --Maxim 13:52, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
I don't know. There are some ways which it is notable, and some ways in which it isn't. Even if it is documented in some pages, it wouldn't hurt to repeat information. That would be like deleting the version exclusive page because all of the information is in the individual Pokémon articles. This, however, can become very speculative, such as humans killed off Pikachu. Truly, humans don't put much effect, other than creating some Pokémon, training them/keeping them as pets, or hunting them (from the article, I don't know where it actually said this in a canonical source). In response to your "other NIWA wikis" argument, I don't believe that alone is justification for an article. Not all video game franchises are alike. Also, I really don't think "humans" are an important part of the Pokémon world: we already have articles for specific groups of humans that are important to Pokémon (like Trainers) and being "humans" isn't really made much of a big deal outside of the Mystery Dungeon games (where you are turned from human to Pokémon). I don't think this article really says anything that isn't already regurgitated elsewhere on the wiki (or in Oak's introductory speeches :P) --ZestyCactus 14:31, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
Maybe we should make this a list of the groups that are important to Pokémon! (And possibly a category of all the humans, but that would be really big) TorchicBlaziken (talkedits) 15:26, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
I have to agree with Turtwig. Yeah, this article kind of says what other articles say, and just links to others, but it's an important catch-all. Kind of like Ash's Friends. They all have their own articles, why bother creating a page to just list all of them? Because it relates all of them in one place and has all their similarities right there. And hey, without humans being trainers, I doubt we'd have a Pokémon franchise in the first place. I do see why some think this article should be deleted, but I think they're more reasons to fix it than delete it. ~~ Scyther Be Awesome! Talk! 03:28, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
But Ash's Friends are a special group of people, important (or used to be) to the anime. Humans are in pretty much every episode, every game, every trading card set (I think). There's nothing really special about them, unless they belong to a specific group, such as Trainer or Breeder.--Pokélova! 04:20, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
That's the Caterpie argument. It's a needed article, for sure. But it sucks right now. Improve it. TTEchidna 08:04, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

B-Button League

Does that really need to be there? They're just CODs from a filler episode. CuboneKing 21:52, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

Pokemon Stylist

Is Pokemon Stylist something to add to the list?--KayKay|Chat to me!|Flee 11:04, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Cleaning Up

Rewrote some of the article, preserving the original content. It still needs improvement content-wise, however, and requires citations or additional external links. Therefore, I left the NI tag. Bluesmith 01:29, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

Teams

Why somebody list Team magma and Team aqua not?--Nazirbashir 14:47, 21 April 2011 (UTC)

Reincarnation as Yamask?

Might this section be broadened to ways in which humans may become Pokemon (including becoming a ghost) or general connection between humans and specific Pokemon species? As it stands this seems to specific and lacks sufficient context to justify its own heading. SuperSmash64 01:19, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

Spiritual Beliefs

Would it be worth mentioning the Sage, Medium, and Channeler trainer classes under spiritual beliefs?Jericho Valentine 00:37, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

People from Space?

Though it is rare, should it be noted that not all humans remain on the Pokémon World; Mohn resides in an accessible dimension where the Pelago is, Anabel, the Player, Lillie, Lusamine, Guzma, an unnamed Faller and potentially Looker have crossed dimensions into Ultra Space, Cynthia, Cyrus and the DPPt Player entered the Distortion World (Cyrus remaining there) and that one person in Post-Game Haina Desert exclaims that he lives somewhere in space. Is it worth a mention? Same with Zinnia's allusion to a multiverse where characters of different dimensions follow different game paths. Azure/ChromeVoid42 (talk) 18:38, 31 March 2017 (UTC)

Alternate dimensions are different from "space". And Pelago is perfectly visible on Alolan maps, you even fly there with Charizard Glide; it's not somewhere that mysterious. Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:42, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
