== Stat boost in Generation II ==
It's not noted in the article, but I've never seen Ancientpower get the stat boost in the Generation II games (including Stadium 2) when the move knocks out the opposing Pokemon.  Can someone verify this?

evolution

i think thepokemon that evolve by knowing this move and lickitung are the only pokemon with a new evolve that have no reason they coulnt evolve before, since they could learn the move before the new evolve was introduced. all other knew evolves use a new item like the magmarizer, which is used to handwave the fact that no one knew abot it before the new gen.Zau 18:22, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Pokemon Move variations Trivia

"There are only six Pokémon that can learn AncientPower and both of its variations: Togetic, Togekiss, Yanma, Yanmega, Giratina, and Smeargle (via Sketch)." -Seeing that at least Giratina has no way of learning Silver Wind in Generation V, should it be added that this trivia only applies in Generation IV? ----NateVirus(Talk|Contributions) 16:51, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

  • Silly me, that doesn't mean one can't transfer one of those Pokémon with these moves into a Generation V game. Still, didn't know if the tidbit about them only being capable of learning the moves in Gen IV mattered or not. ----NateVirus(Talk|Contributions) 23:41, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Where can we mention somewhere that the attack animation uses fossils now?
