Pokémon world locations

The Ribbon Syndicate is a building located in the Resort Area of the Battle Zone. It is difficult to miss with its large size and giant decorative ribbon over the doorway. A Coordinator must have at least 10 different kinds of Ribbons spread among their current Pokémon party to gain access to the building.

Places of Interest

Ribbon Counter

One of the notable thing about the syndicate is that they offer incredibly expensive ribbons, which act mostly as signs of status rather than merit. The counter is located on the first floor, just beyond the entry. The lady there will offer each ribbon one at a time according to the price; the Gorgeous Ribbon first, then the Royal Ribbon, and finally the Royal Gorgeous Ribbon.

Gorgeous Ribbon Royal Ribbon Royal Gorgeous Ribbon

$10,000 $100,000 $999,999

Spa

The syndicate also features a spa on the top floor. A visit to this spa, like grooming in the earlier games, makes a Pokémon more friendly. They can only accept five Syndicate members a day and a Trainer who receives a massage may not receive another until the next day.

Trivia

  • The spa treatment happens to have diamonds and pearls as ingredients.
  • The Royal Gorgeous Ribbon is the most expensive purchasable item that has appeared in the series, excluding items that are listed for $1,000,000 - the player cannot actually purchase these as having more than $999,999 is not possible.
  • Even if the player has a walk through walls cheat, they cannot gain access to the Ribbon Syndicate without having the required number of ribbons.
