Purifying Salt (Japanese: きよめのしお Purifying Salt) is an Ability introduced in Generation IX. It is the signature Ability of Nacli's evolutionary line.

Effect

In battle

Purifying Salt protects the user from status conditions and halves the damage done by Ghost-type attacks (though not fixed damage attacks such as Night Shade).

If the Pokémon has a status condition and gains this Ability, the status condition will not be cured and remains in effect.

Outside of battle

Purifying Salt has no effect outside of battle.
