It was also printed in the Japanese {{TCG|Treecko Constructed Starter Deck|Treecko}}, {{TCG|Torchic Constructed Starter Deck|Torchic}}, {{TCG|Mudkip Constructed Starter Deck|Mudkip}}, {{TCG|Flygon Constructed Starter Deck|Flygon}}, {{TCG|Salamence Constructed Starter Deck|Salamence}}, {{TCG|Metagross Constructed Starter Deck|Metagross}}, {{TCG|Ocean's Kyogre ex Constructed Starter Deck|Ocean's Kyogre ex}}, and {{TCG|Earth's Groudon ex Constructed Starter Deck}}s, and the Lucario Quarter Deck of the Japanese {{TCG|Gift Box Mew • Lucario}}. All prints of the card neglect to mention what would happen if none of the cards were Basic Pokémon, Evolution cards, or Energy cards. The ruling on the matter was that the player would show all 3 cards to the opponent to prove there were no necessary cards there, then place all 3 cards back on top of the deck in any order.
