==Release information==
==Release information==
This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was awarded to the runners-up of the Neo Spring Road in 2000. The card was reprinted in 2001, awarded to the runners-up of World Championship Secret Super Battle. The card was reprinted onto the e-Series design in 2002 and came in two versions, depicting either a male or female trainer. These versions were awarded to the runners-up of the Spring Battle Road in 2002.
This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was awarded to the runners-up of the First and Second Official Pokémon Card Game Tournaments held in 1997 and 1998 respectively. Another version was also awarded to the runners-up of the Blastoise Mega Battle in 1999. The card was never released in English.

==Trivia==
==Trivia==
*Unlike previous tournament winner cards, the trophy cards produced between 2000 and 2002 had the name of the winner and the region in which the tournament was held. It is debated that this makes them rarer than those released in 1997-1999, as each one is unique.
This card is also popularly known as the ''Pikachu Trophy No.2'' card, in reference to the illustration. It is one of the rarest cards in the world, with only one copy of the card produced over the course of three years, meaning only three exist. At the height of the Pokémon phenomenon in the West, auctions of this card saw it make roughly $9,000.
*The 2002 print features both male and female trainer versions, taking inspiration from the choice first given to players with the release of {{game|Crystal}}.
*The double star rarity was no longer used with the 2002 print.
