Trivia

Origin

Whirlpool is a move in the Pokémon games that Mudkip can learn. Spring Back's Japanese name is that of Payback, a move later introduced in Generation IV that Mudkip cannot learn. Like all Pokémon ☆ cards, it is intended to represent the Shiny version of a Pokémon, although, for some reason, this does not seem to be the case for this specific card. Shiny Mudkip have pink, purplish colored skin, while the one represented on the card has a slightly dark blue skin. Curiously enough, its tail fin and lower body are correctly colored after its Shiny form.
