'''Mr. Shaw''' (Japanese: '''ショール ''' ''Shoal'') is a [[character of the day]] who appeared in ''[[BW125|Cilan and the Case of the Purrloin Witness!]]''.

Mr. Shaw is a business man and a jewel collector, who first came up to [[Ripple]]'s room in a ship cruise and asked her to sell him a rare jewel in her possession, called the "Eye of Liepard". Even though Ripple rejected his offer, Shaw still kept interest in the jewel, which caused Ripple's {{p|Watchog}}, the caretaker of the room, to get angry and expulse him out of the place.

He took advantage of a power outage caused by a battle during the [[Marine Cup Tournament]] held on the ship. Mr. Shaw used his {{p|Roselia}} to put Ripple's Watchog asleep so he could enter the room to take another look at the jewel. When the power was restored, Ripple and [[Porter]] found a shocked Mr. Shaw inside the room, claiming that the Eye of Liepard was nowhere to be found.

After recovering of her fainting, Ripple immediately suspected Mr. Shaw was the thief, so the {{dec|Captain}} of the cruise interrogated him, and Mr. Shaw desperately insisted that he was not guilty. With the help of Ripple's {{p|Purrloin}} and {{an|Cilan}}, his constant claims of innocence were proven true, due to the real criminal being [[Teaque]], who managed to steal the jewel just before Mr. Shaw entered the room. After [[Tedesco]] arrested the thief, Ripple came to good terms with him, and he decided not to insist on buying the Eye of Liepard.
