Lon (Japanese: コール Cole) is a character of the day who appeared Scary Hospitality!. He now haunts his former childhood home, an old mansion known as the 14 near Laverre City.

Over 200 years ago, when Lon was still a little boy, he lived in the mansion together with his parents. Because of strange things happening to him inside the mansion, Lon asked his father to build him a room in the basement that no one else could enter. The strange phenomena kept happening, however, and as such, Lon's father hired a medium to conduct a purification. The medium gave them several charms to drive away ghosts. But when even that didn't help, Lon and his parents decided to leave the mansion. Lon would eventually return to the mansion and pass away at an older age, but his spirit kept on living in the mansion. The mansion later came to be known as the "Scary House" because the spirit of Lon tells scary stories to visitors and scares them together with a Gastly, a Haunter and a Gengar.

Ash and ashfr passed Lon's mansion on their way to Laverre City. They were hesitant to go inside at first because of the tales surrounding the mansion, but when it started to rain, Lon opened the front door and invited them inside. Lon acted very hospitable towards Ash and his friends, which was greatly appreciated by them. Afterwards, he explained to them why the mansion was called the Scary House and told them a ghost story. Next, strange phenomena started to happen, which greatly startled Ash and his friends. The phenomena were found out to be a part of one of Lon's jokes, and were caused by his Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar.

Ash and his friends eventually ended up in the basement, where they found an old notebook. They went back upstairs, where they found Lon. He asked them to read the notebook, and the notebook was revealed to contain Lon's experiences of living inside the mansion as a little boy. After this, Lon noted that he now understood that Gastly, Haunter and Gengar must have caused the strange phenomena that caused Lon and his parents to leave the mansion long ago. When Bonnie picked up a photo of Lon as a young boy, they discovered a date on the back which read July 14, 1758. When Ash noted that was over 200 years ago, Lon revealed to them he was a ghost.

The next morning, Ash and his friends woke up outside the mansion, and wondered if they had dreamt their encounter with Lon. However, Bonnie was shown to have a photo of her together with Lon, Gastly, Haunter and Gengar. That night, TRT arrived at the mansion and Lon invited them inside as well, while Gastly, Haunter and Gengar waited behind to scare them.
