Latias is a very docile Pokémon. She appeared to dislike fighting and was quickly scared off by any conflict or anything attempting to cause harm to her. She was, however, shown to have a more mature side beside her childish and playful side, bravely joining her big brother to save Alto Mare from drowning.

Latias was distributed in Japan from August 11 to September 8, 2022 as part of the 25th anniversary screenings of ''[[M05|Pokémon Heroes: Latios & Latias]]''. This Latias is unique in that it knows the move {{m|Sweet Kiss}}, a move which it can otherwise normally not learn. This is probably in reference to the kiss that Latias gives Ash at the end of the movie.
