Drink: Difference between revisions

Drinks are found in a variety of special places. The main three, Fresh Water, Soda Pop, and Lemonade, can be bought from [[vending machine]]s; Moomoo Milk can be bought from vending machines in {{Pokémon XD}}, and at the [[Café Cabin]] in [[Sinnoh]]. They can be bought in bulk in only two places, in the [[Two Island (town)#Market Stall|Two Island Market Stall]] (after certain requirements are met) and at [[Mt. Moon Square]] in {{2v|HeartGold|SoulSilver}}.

In Generation V, [[vending machine]]s are much more common, being located in [[Shopping Mall Nine]], [[Twist Mountain]], {{rt|5|Unova}}, {{rt|9|Unova}}, [[Cold Storage]], {{rt|15|Unova}}, [[Marvelous Bridge]], and [[Village Bridge]], as well as in several cities and towns. Moomoo Milk can be purchased from the market in [[Driftveil City]] in single bottles or by the dozen. Berry Juice can be won on board the [[Royal Unova]] or bought in [[Black City]]. Fresh Water can also be purchased in Black City and can be obtained from the [[Gym guide|Clyde]] in every [[Gym]].

In the Generation {{gen|III}}, {{gen|IV}}, and {{gen|V}} games, when purchasing a drink from a [[vending machine]] there is a 3% chance that the player may also receive an extra drink for free. When this happens, the message "Score! An extra can of [item] dropped down!" or "Bonus! Another can of [item] dropped down." is displayed, depending on generation. In {{2v2|Black|White|2}}, there is a [[List of Medals in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2|Medal]] for having this happen.

A thirsty girl on the roof of [[Celadon Department Store]] will give [[TM]]s in exchange for one of the [[vending machine]] drinks. The TMs vary between generations. In [[Generation I]], the girl trades {{TM|13|Ice Beam}} for Fresh Water, {{TM|48|Rock Slide}} for Soda Pop, and {{TM|49|Tri Attack}} for Lemonade. In [[Generation III]], the girl trades {{TM|16|Light Screen}} for Fresh Water, {{TM|20|Safeguard}} for Soda Pop, and {{TM|33|Reflect}} for Lemonade.

A Soda Pop made a brief appearance as one of the items in {{adv|Red}}'s [[Bag]] in ''[[PS022|A Hollow Victreebel]]''.

Eusine was given several bottles of Moomoo Milk by the Miltank Farmers. When he had finished healing Miltank Farmers' Miltank in ''[[PS127|Miltank Melee]]'', he was surprised by {{adv|Crystal}}, causing him to drop all the bottles, breaking them in the process.
