==Origin==
Couriway Town's real-life counterpart is the city of Strasbourg. Located in the traditionally Germanic-speaking region of Alsace, it is known traditionally as Strassburg and was a Germanic-speaking town for most of it's history. It is today known as a cultural bridge between Germany and France, the "Heart of Europe" and is home to many EU governmental buildings.
For Couriway Town, this heritage is reflected in the copying of the traditional Alsatian/German countryhome architecture, the town's French name ("Mozheim"; ''-heim'' being a common Germanic suffix found in Alsatian townnames.) and the town's slogan ("a town connecting differences").
