After the player enters the [[Hall of Fame]], Colress continues to dwell in the Plasma Frigate; however, he and the other Team Plasma members have decided to put an end to their ambitions. Colress remains in the chamber when he first met the player on the Plasma Frigate; there, he can then battle the player and will give the player a [[Master Ball]] once defeated. He will then move to the stern of the Frigate, where he will battle the player once per day.

Colress appeared as an antagonist, helping Team Plasma with their goal of Pokémon liberation. Colress' first appearance was as a competitor in the Unova Pokémon League, where he was disguised as the cloak-bearing '''Hood Man''' (Japanese: '''フードマン''' ''Hood Man''). He managed to sneak in without having earned any of the eight Unova Gym Badges. After battling his way through Victory Road, he eventually made it into the top 8. In the quarterfinals match, he was paired up against [[Marlon]]. Although Marlon managed to disable the moves of Colress' {{p|Beheeyem}}, Colress came out on top and advanced to the next round. After leaving, he noted that participating in the League and observing powerful Trainers would help him in his research. In the semifinals, Colress faced his next opponent, {{adv|Cheren}}. Although Cheren initially struggled due to his {{TP|Cheren|Snivy}}'s disappointing strength, he switched it out for his {{p|Unfezant}} and quickly defeated Colress's Beheeyem with a {{m|U-turn}}.

When Team Plasma made their attack on the Pokémon League and N's Castle rose from the ground, Colress returned to prevent the Elite Four from helping in the battle. There, he revealed that he had been given {{p|Tornadus}}, {{p|Thundurus}}, and {{p|Landorus}} and that he intended on battling the Elite Four to discover how to transform the three into their Therian Formes. He discovered that a special mirror was the key to transforming the three Pokémon. When Ghetsis was defeated by {{adv|Black}}, Colress rushed in to assist him. Using his {{p|Beheeyem}}, Colress freed Ghetsis, causing Black to be sealed into the [[Dragon Stones|Light Stone]], and Teleported himself and Ghetsis away. Afterwards, he talked to Ghetsis, who thanked him for his assistance. Ghetsis expressed a desire to work with him again, but Colress only agreed as long as it did not impede his research.

====Pokémon====

|desc={{p|Beheeyem}} is Colress's first known Pokémon. Beheeyem was used to manipulate weak-minded people into releasing their Pokémon so that more people would be influenced by this and do the same. It was first used to battle [[Marlon]]'s {{p|Jellicent}} and despite having Energy Ball disabled via {{a|Cursed Body}}, it won with a super effective Shadow Ball. Later, it was used against {{adv|Cheren}}'s {{p|Unfezant}} and was defeated by a super effective {{m|U-turn}}. When {{adv|White}} attempted to rat Colress out, Beheeyem was used to Teleport her out of the stadium. Beheeyem also freed Ghetsis from a {{m|Stone Edge}} trap, slammed {{adv|Black}} against {{p|Reshiram}} as it retracted into the Light Stone, and Teleported Ghetsis and Colress away from [[N's Castle]].
