Abe: Difference between revisions

As revealed in ''[[SM108|Memories in the Mist!]]'', [[Mallow's mother|Abe's wife]] passed away due to an illness while their children were still young. Abe would continue to raise Mallow and Ulu on his own while also running [[Aina's Kitchen]].  

Abe debuted in ''[[SM018|A Seasoned Search!]]'', where {{Ash}} and {{ashcl}} were having a meal, only for Mallow to ruin it when she tried to apply a pinch of {{AP|Pikachu}}'s {{m|Thunderbolt}}. He made them some more food to make amends for Mallow's cooking. Then, he explained the history about the legendary Alolan Stew, remarking that the key ingredient was out of date. Despite this, Mallow and Ash went looking for it the next day and were successful.

In ''[[SM039|Mallow and the Forest Teacher!]]'', Aina's Kitchen was featured on TV, only for Mallow to run away into the forest after having a falling-out with Abe. There, she encountered the same {{an|Oranguru}} that Abe encountered in the past. Abe later found Mallow and they reconciled.

 

In ''[[SM055|The Professors' New Adventure!]]'', Abe attended the wedding of {{an|Professor Kukui}} and [[Professor Burnet]] and was part of the catering.

Abe reappeared in ''[[SM059|Tasting the Bitter with the Sweet!]]'', during a flashback when Mallow and {{an|Lana}} were young where [[Lana's mother]] made a delivery.

In ''[[SM072|Sours for the Sweet!]]'', [[Ulu]] returned. Abe and Mallow were preparing to enter the [[Alola Bread Festival‎‎]], only for the former to hurt his back. As a result, Mallow and Ulu competed together, but Ulu lost his Berries to a {{p|Snorlax}}. Though Ulu left soon after, Mallow was able to win the competition.

In ''[[SM082|All They Want to Do is Dance Dance!]]'', Abe watched Mallow and Steenee prepare for the PokéDance that the [[Pokémon School]] was doing. He volunteered to take over Mallow's chores so they could have more time to practice.

In ''[[SM087|Filling the Light with Darkness!]]'', Abe was among the adults who were tired and without motivation due to the effects of a {{DL|Light trio (anime)|Necrozma}}. He closed Aina's Kitchen and later visited Oranguru's place.

Abe reappeared in ''[[SM108|Memories in the Mist!]]'', during a flashback that Mallow had of her and [[Mallow's mother|her mother]] in the hospital.

In ''[[SM117|Drawn with the Wind!]]'', Abe worked at Aina's Kitchen with {{TP|Mallow|Tsareena}} while Mallow was visiting [[Malie City]].

In [[SM121]], Abe asked Mallow to get some ingredients from Oranguru. Afterwards, [[Olivia]], Ash, and the rest of his classmates volunteered to help out at the restaurant. Abe later watched as Mallow returned with a [[Grassium Z]] given by {{DL|Guardian deities (anime)|Tapu Koko}} and a [[Z-Ring]] given by Oranguru.

In [[SM124]], Abe and Mallow were preparing food at Aina's Kitchen when a {{DL|Ultra Beasts (anime)|Kartana}} cut up some of their cabbage without them realizing.
