Counter

Wen Ash was fighting Team Rocketwith Caterpie, is it posible that he did not know they could not use counter? Cerberus 23:33, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Caterpie tried to use Counter, though. Maybe it thought it could use the move. ----

Released?

Come tho think of it...does it count as "releasing" when the Pokemon was technically NEVER released from the Poke Ball? All Ash did was send Butterfree away and said, "I'll just tell the other Pokemon that you're on a trip and you'll be back some day, maybe." And he never released him with the Poke Ball.
