Message of the Wind (Japanese: 風のメッセージ Kaze no Message, Kaze no messēji exact) is the second ending theme of the Diamond & Pearl series. It debuted in DP062, replacing the Winter version of By Your Side ~Hikari's Theme~.
Ending animation: DP ED 2
A rainbow colored "Pokémon" scrolls on the screen. Ash, Dawn and Brock with their respective Pokémon are scrolled on the screen. Individual scenes of Ash and Brock are shown throwing Poké balls and Dawn is shown in a different costume throwing a Poké ball in a ball capsule. Cherry blossom petals blow and Ash is seen with Pikachu. Pikachu then jumps into Ash's arms and Ash holds Pikachu in the air. Zoey and Kenny are shown at the bottom of a staircase of light. The camera scrolls up and Dawn and Piplup are seen. The camera transitions into a scrolling image of Dawn in the wind. A still image of Ash in a cheer squad outfit (Ouendan) is shown with Pikachu in its cheering costume and Buizel with a head band. The scene changes to Dawn in her cheerleading outfit with Piplup and Buneary also in cheerleading outfits. A group of Nurse Joys are seen in a scrolling image with Brock chasing them while holding flowers. The camera shifts to a close-up shot of Brock holding the flowers while he has hearts in his eyes. Croagunk appears in the back with its arm ready to use Poison Jab and the scene changes to Brock affected by the Poison Jab. Jesse as Jessalina is seen on a broomstick above a city at night holding a magical lollipop. She points the lollipop at James, Meowth, and Wobbuffet and sparkles appear. The lollipop then shrinks them into a chibi form. They are scared by a larger and also chibi Jessalina. The group is shown chasing a glitter of Butterfree. The scene changes to the Butterfree flying into the sunset with the group on a cliff.
